I repeated the same steps for all 5 of my vinyl layers.
I realized after the fact that I should have built the decal on a the adhesive tape first, and then applied the whole thing to my mug. This might have helped stop some of the air bubbles from forming. Some of the kinks might have happened no matter what, due to it being a cylindrical surface...
In this rotation I learned how to create a multi layer vinyl decal. I gained a better understanding of how to use the machine, and of the vinyl process in general. I'm not entirely happy with how this project turned out, but I still think it turned out pretty well. If I were to do anything differently, I would do what I talked about in the paragraph above. I'm hoping the air bubbles will settle out over time. Some of the air bubbles are already smaller, than the ones pictured above...
