I wanted to design a holder that looked really modern and clean.
I then loaded the file into the 3D printer and printed it. It took almost 11 hours to complete...
After peeling off the excess material, I used sand paper to smooth out the phone holder.
In this rotation, I learned how to better use Inventor to design my idea for a phone holder. I learned how to use the 3D printer better when I ended up printing my holder. I also learned that the print won't come out perfect. I had to peel off supports, and sand down some excess plastic left on the holder. Overall I'm very happy with how the holder turned out. It actually turned out better than I expected. I'm also pleased that I got the measurements right the first time when printing because if I didn't, I would have had to print the holder a second time.
